Jazz Gigs & Venues

Check out these websites for current calendar of events, information on musicians, venues, locations, and anything else about Honolulu's amazing (and little-known) jazz scene:

Here are some of my favorite venues and the days and times I recommend checking them out after the COVID-19 shutdown has lifted:

  • Medici's at Manoa School of Art & Music  (Fridays 7:30- 10:00)
  • Jazz Vespers at St. Peter's Church (Thursdays 6:00-7:00)
  • Hawaiian Brian's (Wednesdays 6:30-9:30)
  • Jazz Minds (most nights)
  • Blue Note, Waikiki (every night, great variety!)

There are plenty of other venues offering fine jazz any day of the week, but these are some of my current personal favorites.
